As a child, Elizabeth was riddled with debilitating shyness. Through childhood, she always felt like the ugly duckling and invisible in her everyday life as if hiding in plain sight where she always felt like an outsider looking in. Into adulthood, these insecurities morphed into various forms of self-sabotage with her weight with feelings of inadequacy, which caused lost opportunities throughout life that led to much frustration, depression, and almost financial ruin. Simultaneously, at an early age, she found the love of dance and performing where she felt safe to express herself and communicate with any size audience. Socially, she still felt mute, but on stage was where everything transformed where she felt free to fully be herself and where she was able to tap into her personal it-factor and confidence. She found a place where she knew exactly how to powerfully draw in, connect and communicate with the audience. But that is where it stayed…on stage. She was still challenged with feelings of awkwardness and insecurities when it came to social settings. After performing, teaching and choreographing all over the world, there was a moment when she realized she could “flip the switch” and draw upon those same charismatic skills into more confidence and a powerful personal presence in any social, or business setting she found herself. Not only on stage. It was in this realization and implementation where her complete life changed into more richness, connections, success, opportunities and love. As a Magnetic Media Presence Coach she now teaches business professionals and entrepreneurs how to flip the that exact same “switch”, which allows you to transform into the best version of yourself with your own signature personal presence that magnetizes your audience in any setting and situation.

I am a creative and energetic storyteller who wakes up before dawn to inform, empower and entertain TV news viewers on WFAA. I started my own YouTube channel to expand my social media presence – let’s connect! In 2018, I launched #UpWithHer to share the expertise of savvy businesswomen and inspire ladies in North Texas. I have 15 years of proven experience in a newsroom but I’ve been fortunate to find success in project and event planning with my volunteer commitments and monthly #UpWithHer MeetUps (pre pandemic) meant to connect women. I recently celebrated my 10 year wedding anniversary. My husband and I have a Pomeranian named Bailey, we love to travel, volunteer and spend time with family. I’m currently studying Spanish and working toward getting my 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification.
